In late December 2018, I discovered that the skin on my lips had been peeling. It deteriorated to the extent that it was peeling on a daily basis. After consulting a medical specialist at the National Skin Centre in January 2019, all products which would come in contact with my lips must be stopped or changed to those suitable for sensitive skin. I am now using a toothpaste for babies.

Needless to say, I could not wear my favourite lipstick but only could wear a thin layer of pale looking lip balm, for months. As the peeling gradually stopped, I started to use my normal lipstick. To my horror, the skin started to peel again. I now realised that I could not use any normal lipstick but to try an organic lipstick. To find an organic lipstick in Singapore is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Fortunately, after much research online, I found Liht Organics in July 2019. What caught my attention were the contents (or the non-existence of it) of the lipstick – 90% organic, gluten-free, vegan, cruelty-free, free of nanoparticles, parabens and synthetic chemicals – which are the exact fundamentals I look for when I do my supermarketing for groceries. What is good for my stomach and my health is definitely good for my lips.

I am using the Colour-Intense Liquid Lipstick which gives me moisturised and healthy looking lips. Most importantly, the skin on my lips did not peel after using the Liht lipstick. I am a happy girl and grateful to Liht for producing a wonderful and responsible product. Thank you!

A friend of mine gave me my first Lip Glaze and Liquid Liner from Liht for my birthday. I of course immediately did a little swatch of them both. My mind was blown! Especially by the eyeliner! It's phenomenal! It did not budge at all. No matter how hard I tried rubbing it! The removal, on the other hand, is so easy! It just takes a little bit of water or eye makeup remover! It really is magic. It does sting a little bit when you first apply it, but it goes away after awhile.

Anyone who knows me, would know that I don't really wear lipgloss. But I would wear this religiously! The formula's not sticky and it feels really comfortable on the lips. The color I was given, Roasted Cherry, was just the right color for my skin tone.

I'm really excited for this brand because it's organic, uses all natural ingredients and does not test on animals.

My favorite product will definitely have to be the Moisture Burst Lip Glaze, as I have extremely dry lips. Thus, I normally shy away from lip products. But Liht's Lip Glaze is gentle on my lips and it doesn't cause my lips to dry up and flake. Another reason would be because it has an appealing range of colors that caters to every single mood. Going for a natural look? Peanut Butter is the color for you. Flirty? Pink Macaron! Empowering? Roasted Cherry is definitely the color. One swipe and you're ready to take on the world. Another plus factor would be that it's extremely affordable!

I feel that the brand also encourages ladies to be confident in their own skin. And that loving yourself is the key factor of being a lady of confidence. The culture of this brand is evident through the fact that it's products are lightweight and their advisements do not emphasize solely on what kind of look you can achieve, but more of how these products can be trinkets to help you through a tough day. I like how these products are mere basics that can go a distance. I also like the fact that while I'm using these products, my mind doesn't have to worry about any innocent furry lives lost during the making process as it is cruelty-free.

Liht Organics' Youth Elixir Liquid Foundation is by far the best liquid foundation I have ever used. The coverage is amazing but it doesn't feel and look like I'm wearing a mask, it just blends perfectly with my skin colour and stays on all day despite the very humid Singapore weather.

I also love the fact that it doesn't block my pores and doesn't cause me to break out like so many other liquid foundations do. The smell is great: vanilla cake!

But the most important part of all for me is that it is 100% vegan, meaning that I don't have to leave my ethics aside to look good.

My favorite is the Moisture Burst Lip Glaze! I have been looking around for safe, organic lip glosses for the longest time and can finally get them easily from Liht! They have so many amazing colours that I can't make up my mind which ones to get all the time. The colours stay and give really good coverage. I have one in my bag everyday for all occasions.

Liht is really all about allowing us girls to reflect the beauty within us, through clean makeup that do not taint our original selves. I feel safe using Liht products and am happy to trade in my commercial range for it. And why not ... When it's actually safer and more economical than commercial make up?

The Youth Elixir Liquid Foundation is indeed a saviour! It is not as thick as I expected it to be, thus it feels light on the skin. I paired it with the All Day Perfection Foundation and they wonderfully help in reducing shine from my oily skin by the end of the day
