Why go Organic?
One of the common harmful chemicals found in traditional, non-organic makeup products such as hydrating foundations is mineral oil. Mineral oils are a by-product derived from petroleum. Affordable and versatile, mineral oils lend themselves to a variety of purposes as a lubricating agent and preservative. However, because it is derived from petrolatum, there is a possibility of it being contaminated with Polyaromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs). Our liver can also be overworked while trying to break down these PAHs absorbed into the bloodstream, and this can lead to irreversible liver damage. APPLICATION
For a natural coverage –
Pump once on the back of your hand and dot the product all over your face, then blend out evenly with a brush. Avoid using your hands or a sponge to apply as this may cause product wastage.
For a fuller coverage –
Apply a second layer, gently stippling the product onto areas that require better coverage (i.e. redness on the forehead and cheeks, blemishes on the cheeks, redness around the nose etc.)
